According to a new report by the Institute for Economics & Peace 70% of the worlds population will live in cities by 2050 and there will be 14 new Megacities added (to the current 33).
The top 5 MEgacities by 2050 are predicted be as follows:
Delhi (49.6 million), Dhaka (34.6 million), Tokyo (32.6 million), Cairo (32.6 million) and Mumbai (32.4 million).
The definition of a Megacity here is 10+ million inhabitants.
