As the world heats up, experts forecast a 1.5 degree C rise in temperatures. With this come more intense heatwaves which will particularly effect children & the elderly.
This will result in increased sales of air conditioning units - which are expected to double in next 20 years.

If the rest of the world used the same amount of air conditioning as the USA, air conditioning would use about 13% of all electricity needed globally! and produce 2 billion tonnes of CO2 annually.
