This Australian startup, BVN reimagined the ductwork as a branching network of 3D printed recycled plastic tubes that allow air to seep out evenly through a space. The designers realized that relying on just a few points of exit for cold air was air-conditioning’s key problem, and they began to look for ways to more evenly distribute air without sacrificing cooling efficiency.
